Hello

Hello, I’m Joy Ruiz. I was born in the Philippines and I’m 21 years old. I’m a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC). I have two older sisters, an older brother and a very cute little brother.

I took up Sports Science at the University of Santo Tomas and graduated in 2010. I thought it was all sports but I was wrong. It was all about science! But that’s okay. If I could, I would go back to school and study something related to film because I want to be a film editor.

If there’s one thing I’m good at, I’d say sports. My favorite sports are football (soccer) and karate. But I won’t sit out a game of basketball, volleyball, frisbee or any other common sports. My most memorable injuries: I sprained my right ring finger so bad I couldn’t bend it for months and a really swollen nose which made my face look so weird for a couple of days. 

I love taking pictures of places, stuff and people. I’m all for capturing moments so I usually snap away when people are not aware I’m taking their pictures. My parents bought me a camera as a reward for winning in a karate tournament in Singapore way back in 2008. If you have questions about photography like aperture or whatever, I’ll try my best to answer them. But please don’t ask me about the specs or performance of cameras or lenses because I honestly have no idea about it.

I made this Tumblr account in August 2011. Sometimes I post my own work but I just usually reblog other people’s stuff. My posts can vary from funny stuff to some serious art to quotes to really nice photos. I also like sharing an interesting part of my day (if there is any) through the use of gifs. Also, if you have been following me for a while, you definitely know I am a huge Grey’s Anatomy fan. And no, I do not post nude photos.
